As we all witnessed on Tuesday, November 10 2009 a man was executed using lethal injection. This man was responsible for the deaths of many using a high power rifle, and hiding in his trunk, shooting out through a hole in the trunk door. His targets were anyone in his sights. John Muhammad was a sick man, and for his crimes he committed he will forever be hated. Everything he stood for is now non-existent. You see, I am a firm believer in karma, and I feel that John has now paid in full, his debt to society.
I understand there is a lot of hype around the idea of capital punishment. I think it's a fantastic idea. Look at it in these terms. Man walks in a bar in Texas, shoots 10 people because the bartender said no more for him. The 10 people that died were all couples that had 3 children each. Now, what do you feel the punishment should be?
Well, if he sits life in prison with no parole, he might get out eventually or even break out. Having him there only adds to the problem of crowded jails. And, the worst part is this man is now living off your dime.
So, to the point: Capital punishment is indeed the fairest form of punishment. If a society feels that the crime you committed is heinous enough that you are a real threat to society and you need to be wiped off the map, then so be it. You rolled the dice, now you are paying the banker.

Yankees win it... again
Well we have all heard it... The Yankees won the World Series for the 26th time. Oh I'm sorry the 27th time, but who's counting anymore. The fact is that the Yankees are world famous for having money and good players. If a team can win the world series 27 times which is like 3 times more than any other team, what is the point of even having a world series. 9 times out of 10 the Yankees will be in it anyways. My point here is that the Yankees having undeservingly won beyond their means. Baseball needs a cap. All major league sports, with the exception of baseball have salary caps, and it works for them. Keeps teams balanced for the most part, doesn't allow all the big names on one time, like for instance, the Yankees. If baseball had a salary cap, the Yankees probably couldn't even have a team. I use to like the Yanks, but grew tired of every big name player eventually earning a spot on that team. The idea of having won the biggest game of the year 27 times seems to be unfair. Why can't the Blue Jay's or Astro's win for once. I was rather upset to watch last nights game, as it seemed to be almost one sided half way through to the end. Anyways, baseball needs a salary cap, and the Yankees need to be broken up and spread throughout to help the poorer teams, the teams that don't make it past the regular season. Down with the Yanks.
